Here’s an update from Alex on how Rin is doing:
Rin is totally at home in the apartment. It feels like he’s always been here even though it’s only been a few weeks. He’s got full reign of the whole place, and he’s chosen a few favorite cozy spots to hang out in. His favorite spot is his little scratching post couch! He’s definitely a people-cat!
He takes about a half hour to warm up to new people, he’ll hide out in my room and then come waltzing out when he’s ready to play. My mom (who has never really been a cat person) came to visit last, and by the end of the weekend she was referring to Rin her “grand kitty” and got him a little Christmas stocking for the mantle – he’s quite the charmer!
Thank you for helping me navigate first-time adoption. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer all of my questions and working to match me with this awesome little guy. Rin is truly the purrfect cat!
Rin and I are very happy and he’s doing well in his forever home!
