ODIE and POOKIE are super sweet brothers. They got their names from characters in the Garfield cartoon. They are super laid back and love cuddling with each other. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
ODIE (grey and white tabby) is very laid back. He is the first to investigate new surroundings and to get use to new people. When he wants love and attention, he makes sure to let you know! He jumps in your lap and nudges your hand until he gets all the scratches and snuggles he wants.
POOKIE (orange and white tabby) has the softest fur ever! He is a tad bit shyer than his brother, Odie. He loves to play with toys and enjoys being brushed. Pookie also loves snuggling with his brother.
These boys were adopted out as kittens to a family with kids and an older dog. However, given they are being rehomed and both are a little shy, we think they need either an adult-only home or a home with an older child who is very gentle and good with cats. The 9 yr old ‘cat whisperer’ boy in their home is really bonded with the boys. They ignore the older dog and don’t do well with puppies. So they need a home without a dog now or in the future.
Odie and Pookie need a quieter home with a patient caretaker who will give them a little time to settle in. These boys came into our care as kittens, along with their siblings Garfield, Jon, Nermal and Squeak.
