Your Generous Gift Saves Lives
The SPCA of Northern Virginia has helped animals in need since its founding in 1992. While animal welfare has made great strides since then, animal abuse, neglect, and homelessness can still be found in every community. The assistance of the SPCA of Northern Virginia and other organizations is crucial to help animals, such as:
-
Wrangler, a kitten who had a mangled ear when he was rescued with his siblings
-
Farley, a dog who was attacked outside by an animal because his owners neglected him
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. It has evolved into a global movement that inspires people to consider how their generosity can change the world. On this day, millions will give of their time to help friends, neighbors, and/or causes they care about. They will share ideas about how causes and movements can take the next step. They will also share their good fortune with donations to these causes.
Please consider making a monetary gift to the SPCA of Northern Virginia this GivingTuesday, December 3. Every gift of generosity counts and helps us do good together.
