Samantha's Personality

Samantha is a very sweet and curious cat. Her shiny black fur is soft and cuddly with a white diamond below her neck. Her voice is humble and sweet when she is seeking your attention. She even talks to you then leads you to her food bowl when she is hungry. Samantha melts when being scratched behind her ears and under her chin.

This sweet girl will be a little timid at first and may hide initially with unexpected noises or when visitors interrupt her contentedness. Nonetheless, Samantha spends most of her day with her foster family enjoying their company. She is a social eater and likes you to hang out with her when she eats. Samantha behaves in a ladylike manner and does not scratch furnishings. She likes to look out windows, jump up on your lap when you are working on a computer, and join you while you watch TV. She purrs loudly when she is happy and likes to lock eyes with you.

Samantha loves to play and is becoming more and more playful. She enjoys having her toys thrown so she can chase them. She is definitely a hunter and does not give up her prey! She plays often during the night. This kitten-cat displays her playful side with interactive toys that have a bell or jingle inside. She loves her mouse and bird jingle toys.

Samantha is very loving and seeks your love by cuddling next to your body at night. If there's not enough room for her, she sleeps at the end of the bed by your foot. She can't wait for you to go to bed so she can jump right up the bed next to you.

What Type of Home Samantha Needs

Samantha needs a quiet home where her caretaker will give her a little time to settle in. No dogs or young children. An older cat-savvy child would be fine.

Where Samantha Came From

Samantha was rescued by a local trap-neuter-return (TNR) organization that mostly handles feral cats. However, they agreed to rescue Samantha and her litter of 5 kittens to get them off the streets and on the road to finding homes. Later transferred to our care, Samantha and her kittens have received vetting and are available for adoption (Boots/Batman still available).
