SAGE is an adorable brown and white tabby girl.
Sage may be a tad bit shy at first, but after a week or so she opens up to become a truly wonderful kitty. She is a quite girl who is calm and likes to observe what's going on around her. Once she was comfortable in her surroundings she began hanging out with her foster dad and sleeping in his foster mom and dad's bed at night. She loves being petted and purrs to show her affection.
Sage needs a quieter home without young children or dogs now or down the road. We don't know how she is with other cats and given that she's FIV (a perfectly healthy FIV positive kitty), its probably best that she be the only kitty in her home.
Sage came into our care after a kind woman found her in a rural part of VA hanging out in the parking lot of a gas station. She was eating food someone had tossed on the ground. Knowing that his friendly girl (ear-tipped) didn't belong where she was found, this kind woman drove around the area to see if Sage may have wandered out of a residential area. With no such housing nearby, she brought Sage back to N VA to find her a home.
