DOBBIE & DASHER are sweet, playful tabby brothers. They are a little shy with new people and need a patient caretaker who will give them a little time to settle in. Once they do, they are absolute cuddle bugs who love, love, love lap time and cuddle time with their foster family. These boys also love friendly adult cats and have bonded well with both male and female adult cats in their foster homes. In fact, they would acclimate faster and be thrilled to have a big cat or two in in their forever home. These boys also adore each other and must be adopted as a pair.

DOBBIE (with beige spot on chest) has giant expressive eyes. He is the most outgoing and the boldest of the brothers. He is the first to investigate new surroundings and to get use to new people. When rescued, he looked so much like "Dobbie the House Elf" from Harry Potter that his rescuer gave him that name. Dobbie loves treats and is the first to run over for food in the morning. He adores chin scratches and petting, and meows until he gets them. Dobbie is an energetic teenager who likes to rough house with his brothers.

DASHER (darkest in color and smallest) is the sweetest little tabby with beautiful green eyes. After needing a couple of days to warm up to you, Dasher crawls into your lap and demands all your petting and attention. He is the best cuddler and has the biggest purr! Dasher loves spring toys and entertains himself for hours chasing one around. After he's done cuddling, Dasher loves to play with Dobbie, even though he's quite a bit smaller than his brother.

These boys need a quiet home without young children, or dogs, now or in the future. They also need an experienced cat caretaker who knows how to make timid kitties feel safe and acclimate to a new environment. Their ideal home is a family with an older child or two, or a couple, who are settled and won't be moving around. They have bonded well in their first foster home with the resident male cat and have also done great in their current foster home with two female cats.

These boys were found huddled together, along with their brother DW (posted separately), under some trees along 4 Mile Run. The person who found them, Denise, heard meowing from the woods as she walked by, so she meowed back. Seconds later Dobbie bolted out to investigate. It took a little coaxing with beef jerky, but he was easy to pick up. The other brothers were coaxed out a little later with canned cat food Denise got from a store nearby. Once in our care, it was clear these precious boys were dumped in the park to fend for themselves. Who would do such a cruel thing? Now safely in our care, these boys are waiting for loving forever home.
