Daisy Scout will be available for adoption mid-December after she is spayed.

DAISY SCOUT is the epitome of a sweet, beautiful, loving cat! This petite girl will amaze you with her sweet demeanor. It doesn't take her long to settle into a new home with new people and even other cats. She does great with the two resident cats in her foster home and would be happiest with another sweet, petite female kitty in her forever home.

Daisy is a well-mannered, low-key girl. She is happiest just hanging out with you or other cats. She can get a little playful batting toys around but she's not overly rambunctious. She needs a peaceful, quieter home that suits her peaceful demeanor. A home with a single person who works from home at least part of the time, a couple or a family with a couple of older, quieter kids would all work well for her.

Its hard to believe the circumstances that lead Daisy Scout to us via a small rescue organization in Southern VA. A kind woman observed Daisy Scout and five newborn kittens – their umbilical cords still attached – being thrown from the window of a moving car. How could someone be so cruel? And to make matters even more cruel, there was also an adult male cat, probably the kittens' father, and an older kitten also tossed from this car. Daisy Scout, four of her kittens, and the older kitten survived the ordeal. Now safely in our care, Daisy Scout, and her four kittens (Marshmellow, Graham Cracker, Campfire and Smores – will be posted separately) will be ready for adoption very soon.

PLEASE NOTE: We ONLY adopt to residents of the Washington metropolitan area, which includes Washington, D.C. and parts of Northern Virginia and Maryland.
