CHARLOTTE is an absolute doll. She is friendly, playful and outgoing. She is also super sweet and purrs immediately when you pet her. Charlotte settles easily into a new home and seems to want nothing more than a loving home.

Charlotte is good at keeping herself entertained as well as playing with people when you interact with her. She also does great with other cats! In just a few days, Charlotte bonded with the three resident cats in her foster home. These normally shy resident cats, one male and two females, are so comfortable around Charlotte that they lovingly lick each other and curl up together for a cat nap. She needs to be adopted with another like-minded SPCA cat, if we have one in our care, or into a home with another like-minded cat or two.

Charlotte has already been through quite a lot at such a young age. Still a kitten herself, she gave birth to just one kitten at a local shelter then easily accepted another kitten orphaned and placed in her care. Despite her young age, Charlotte took to motherhood instantly and was very protective, attentive and nurturing to both kittens. Unfortunately, about four weeks of caring for these kittens, her nipples became irritated and she wasn’t producing enough milk so we had to move the kittens into another foster home where they could be cared for. After a brief period of sadness and confusion from the separation, Charlotte bounced back and began transitioning and adapting back to kitten life herself.

Charlotte was a stray kitty who came into SPCA’s care via a local shelter.
