Matching Gift Programs
Many companies have Matching Gift Programs and will match their employees’ donations to any registered nonprofit organization dollar for dollar. All the employee has to do is request the "Matching Gift Form" from their employer, complete his/her part, and send it in to the SPCA of Northern Virginia, P.O. Box 100220, Arlington, VA, 22210 along with his/her donation. SPCA will fill in our part and sent it back to the organization. For example, if you donate $25, your employer matches this amount, and the SPCA of Northern Virginia receives $50.
The following companies have indicated that they have Matching Gift Programs, but this is NOT a comprehensive list. Please check with your employer's Human Resources office to see if they participate in this program.
